Adding attachments to emails every time isn't really necessary, and will contribute to your ever growing mailbox size, so share links to the documents instead! Here's how...
1. Sharing a document, folder, or image via Teams/SharePoint
Navigate to the team tab on the Teams side bar.
Select the team there the file is hosted. Most of you will only have a handful of teams to select from.
Once the team is selected you can click on the File tab at the top of the Teams window. Select the file(s) or folder(s) you would like to share. Click on the ellipsis to reveal link option.
You are also able to click into the folder and share the content individually vs the entire folder.
Once you select copy link you will be presented with two options for the link. Share via the Teams group or share via SharePoint. Every Teams group will have its own SharePoint for the group. The link will be long, here is how to make it look cleaner from within teams and within an email.
2. From within Teams:
Copy the really long Teams link (not the SharePoint one)
Open the conversation where you want to share the link & paste
Click the Format icon located on the bottom left of your Teams conversation box.
Then click the Insert Link icon . From here you can change the name of your link to whatever you want in the Text to Display box – just drop the Microsoft Teams link you Copy & Pasted earlier into the Address box.
Click Insert and you are done!
3. From within an Email:
Click on the link button and then insert link:

If you rather share the file from SharePoint directly you can!
Simply click on “Open in SharePoint” instead of “Copy link’. This will open the SharePoint version of your team in a new browser window.
From here you can either share as a Copy link and follow the steps above or direct share by clicking the “Share” option:
When selecting the “Share” option you will be presented with this menu. You can determine who can view/edit the file from the direct share. You are able to select multiple recipients
Once you have made your selections press Send. The recipient(s) will receive and email with a direct link to the document(s) or folder(s)
4. Sharing Documents via email from MBIL shares.
First thing would be to connect to the Manolo Blahnik VPN.
Click on the WI-FI icon on the lower right-hand side of your task bar.
Locate the Manolo Blahnik VPN at the top and click connect.
Once connected you will need to double-click on the MBIL Shares icon on your desktop and enter your full email address and password.
Then, you will have access to the S drive when you open an explorer window.
Within the S drive MBIL Shares you will need to navigate to a folder you have access to. For this example, we will use the “Public” folder since everyone has access to this.
From an email screen you can click the link button followed by insert link at the bottom of the drop down. Navigate to the MBIL Shares S: drive and locate the file you would like to share. In this case the file can be found in: S:\Public\Test links\MBIL Shares Link.docx – then click OK.

Happy Sending!
